The US progressive metal band "Queensrÿche" conquered the music scene in 1982 with their 4-song EP "Queensrÿche" and quickly became internationally renowned. With "The Warning" (1984) and "Rage for Order" (1986), they established themselves as a defining band of the 80s. "Operation: Mindcrime" (1988) is one of the most successful concept albums of all time, "Empire" (1991) brought Grammy nominations and the MTV "Viewers Choice" award for "Silent Lucidity". Over 30 million albums sold and worldwide tours followed. To this day, Queensrÿche stand for energetic live shows and creative development in hard rock and metal.
