The play "Fish Don't Cry", which has already been performed successfully in cities such as San Francisco, Paris, Toronto and Ljubljana, is now coming to Germany. It focuses on Marta, an opera singer at the Mariupol Theater, who has lost everything in the war - her family, her home and her hometown. In her despair, she takes refuge in the idea of being a fish - because "fish don't cry". This moving play tells of loss, memory and inner strength and impressively demonstrates the power of art to preserve hope, courage and humanity even in the darkest of times.
