Once a month, Paul Janoschka invites guests from his wide musical circle to a special evening. Sometimes local, sometimes international, sometimes acoustic, sometimes electronic, but always with a changing line-up, new and fresh and in tune with the times. Creating new musical connections, bringing together fresh and established voices - the focus is on the idea of an open, lively jazz community - all in the name of ambitious jazz in Frankfurt. Tara Sarter plays the saxophone and says about herself: "I try to find an honest approach to music and to incorporate this into a performance in its purest form."

Jakob Obleser has been a sought-after bassist in jazz and related border areas for several years. His irresistible bass lines, walking or funky, regularly get people bobbing their heads. Through his active presence on stage and in the music, he conveys warmth, surprise and contemporary relevance.

Joshua Knauber is a versatile drummer who is active in the jazz, pop and urban music scenes. Today he lives and works mainly in Cologne, where he also completed his bachelor's degree at the HfMT in 2024.

Paul Janoschka has now arrived in Frankfurt. He completed his jazz piano studies with Prof. Rainer Böhm and Prof. Joerg Reiter at the Mannheim University of Music and Performing Arts in 2019. He then moved to New York City, where he completed his master's degree with Kevin Hays and Fred Hersch as a DAAD scholarship holder at the City College of New York and immersed himself in the vibrant music scene there.
