Every first Thursday of the month, CINESCAPE° presents contemporary cinematic art between politics, aesthetics and society. Visionary directors, outstanding actors and moving stories. All films are shown in their original version with German subtitles (OmU) so that the authentic charm is not lost. After the screening, the bar opens for socializing

Cinematographer Daniel Brettschneider has procured pure gold for the opening. Because Fatih Akin's initially underrated masterpiece "Rheingold" has everything that makes cinema at its best: timing, pressure, tenderness, wit and an incredibly entertaining energy. And then there's this true story that could never have been made up: The life and work of rap legend, label boss and golden boy Xatar, who passed away far too soon on May 7. In loving memory of one of the most influential, mystical, smartest and warmest players in the music business. And they all wear coats.

SCAPE° is an interactive exhibition and experience space in Offenbach's pedestrian zone. Under the motto "Weather, climate, change. We explain and explore it together", exciting hands-on stations, workshops and events are used to explain the major connections between weather and climate. The exhibition is free of charge. SCAPE° is present in the urban environment with other activities, brings people together and is therefore an important player in the gradual transformation and revitalization of Offenbach's city centre. SCAPE° is implemented by the municipal offices for cultural management, environment and climate as well as economic development and the German Weather Service (DWD).
