Yagody - Ukrainian Folk at the International Theater - 2for1-Tickets
There is a song for every moment in a person's life, says Zoryana Dybovska, who founded Yagody in 2016 in Lviv, western Ukraine, with students from the theater faculty. The four of them traveled through several Ukrainian oblasts to track down the musical traditions of the people there. From this inexhaustible number of melodies, rhythms and themes, Yagody create their exciting and unmistakable sound, supported by musicians on drums, guitar, accordion or the drymba, a Jew's harp of the Hutsuls from the Carpathian Mountains.
