Kultur in Bad Vilbel

Fabian Prohaska is just one point short of being admitted to the Abitur. Just one damn point! And all because his Latin teacher, Mr. Engelhardt, an old-school teacher, refused to accept Fabian's homework being handed in two minutes late on principle. Fabian's father, Manfred Prohaska, can't believe it and decides to take matters into his own hands. One Friday afternoon, he stormed into the staff room at Fabian's school to confront the Latin teacher. "You can't do that on a Friday afternoon after 3 p.m.," says colleague Lohmann. And because the established teaching staff agree on this point for once, they all want to leave. Manfred Prohaska sees red and pulls out a gun. Nobody gets out. What follows is a highly entertaining chamber play of the first order. But Manfred Prohaska has not reckoned with the teachers. His "hostages" don't behave the way you would expect them to. The question is whether the somewhat too casual sports colleague Mertens actually impregnates schoolgirls and whose teaching methods always made you want to vomit anyway... Between filter coffee and uncorrected homework, old dirty laundry is washed with a lot of emotion and sarcasm, right up to the odd bit of violence.
