Lichterzauber Anderswelt - at the Colorado Park adventure playground - Free admission
The Colorado Park adventure playground is transformed into an "Otherworld", fairy tales are told by the fire and there is a big dance theater performance with the antagon theaterAKTion.
The Riederwald Adventure Playground Association has been organizing the eerily beautiful spectacle "Lichterzauber - Anderswelt" for 27 years, enchanting eyes and senses as night falls. Fairy tales will be told by firelight and the "antagon-theater AKTion" will be a highlight of the event with its unique dance-theater performance. This spectacle has been developed exclusively for the Lichterzauber event and will be unique to this evening. Completely out of this world, tasty and hearty, food and drinks will be offered at various stands. The Colorado Park Adventure Playground team invites you to let your imagination run wild, dress up and contribute to the colorfulness of the "Magic of Lights"!
Where the tribal area of the Dornbuschler borders on that of the Ginnheimer, in the shadow of Frankfurt's largest totem pole, namely the television tower, lies the Colorado Park adventure playground as a socio-educational facility. This is where the smallest sequoia trees grow, where there is the smallest Grand Canyon and a real stagecoach, wooden horses with stables and a rocket with a roller slide just like at Cape Canaveral. A children's world is being built here as a reminder that American kids lived and played in the former housing areas in the neighborhood for decades. On hot summer days, the water play landscape invites children to splash around, cool off, build bridges and, of course, have water fights. In one of the many streams, dams are built, while in another, mini canoes are used to go on a big sea voyage.
