In her first solo program "Lasagne im Bett", comedy newcomer Matilde takes the audience on a journey through her life for the first time at Neues Theater Höchst. You can experience her as an Italian in Berlin, with her "career" as an actress and her cultural misunderstandings - and all this with a mother that some people might not wish for. But the audience is lucky enough to be able to laugh at this suffering. With self-irony, Matilde is able to deal with everything that life throws at her, and with every laugh you feel lighter. No topic is too good for Matilde and everyone will find something to smile, giggle or laugh about - so much so that it almost hurts a little. The balancing act between pain and humor. That is Matilde's comedy. And the audience can enjoy the balancing act to the full.
"Lasagna in bed" is something wrong, but too good to stop. It's the tomato sauce stain on the comforter. It's gratinated cheese for breakfast: it's simply all the things you wouldn't normally dare to allow.
