Chris de Burgh is going on tour with new songs and cover versions. The title "50LO" refers on the one hand to the fact that he is performing solo and celebrating his 50th stage anniversary, and on the other to his current album: "For '50', I have selected my favorite songs from each of my previous studio albums," says singer, guitarist and pianist de Burgh, "and recorded three new songs to go with them." The stage pro also reveals a few things about the concerts: "This tour is about me reminiscing about my beginnings, when I performed solo with guitar or piano accompaniment. I'll also be talking about the music at the guest appearances, about the origins of the songs and their background."
