Noble sounds: Davidoff Trio - Classical music in the Petrus-Gemeindehaus, Langen - 2for1 tickets
The Davidoff Trio is regarded as one of the most interesting up-and-coming piano trios on the European chamber music scene and plays on master instruments. Johannes Wendel plays on a violin by Jean-Baptiste Vuillaume (Paris, ca. 1861), which has been generously loaned to him from a private collection. Christoph Lamprecht plays a violoncello by Nicolas F. Vuillaume from 1860, generously loaned by Daniel Geiss. The works by Rachmaninoff, Schubert and Haydn will be accompanied by Yona Sophia Jutzi on the piano.
n April 2025, the Davidoff Trio won the Parkhouse Award in London, which includes concert invitations to renowned British festivals, a recital at the Wigmore Hall and live performances on the BBC. The trio has also received numerous national and international awards and has won prizes at the international JOSEPH JOACHIM Chamber Music Competition, the Folkwang Prize, the international Gianni Bergamo Classic Music Award and the Orpheus Swiss Chamber Music Competition.
The Davidoff Trio performs regularly on international stages and has made guest appearances at the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival, the Brixen Classics Festival and the Swiss Chamber Music Festival Adelboden, among others.
