Loud, wild, untamable: Gogol Bordello bring back the chaos. They sweep onto the stage like a hurricane. After recently touring with Dropkick Murphys and wowing the audience, the band are back on stage. The multicultural troupe stands for an explosive mixture of punk, dub and the rousing folklore of the Roma and have a unique sound in their luggage. Their unique sound is loud, wild and uncompromising - an unleashed celebration of freedom that cannot be pigeonholed. As their first label said about the album "Multi Kontra Culti Vs. Irony": an aesthetic that bridges the gap between Eastern European and Western culture. An accordion and a violin complement the classic punk line-up of guitar, drums and bass. The result is a veritable musical firework display that can be understood in any language. Even though the lyrics are predominantly in English, Ukrainian and Romani passages appear again and again, emphasizing the transcultural character of the band.
