The 19th Interceltic Folk Festival conjures up a variety on Hofheim's stages that leaves nothing to be desired: Concerts ranging from folk to modern, torchlight processions at night, the sound of the harp and bagpipes, medieval and Irish dances as well as sessions where everyone is welcome to bring their instrument to life. As an integral part of Hofheim's district town summer, the Interceltic Folk Festival has been creatively connecting various cultural and social hubs in the district town since 2007.

The Mongol trio presents a wild musical ride through the vastness of a distant steppe. Enkhjargal Dandarvaanchig, the vocal wonder from Mongolia, wanders between cultures. With his playing on the morinhoor ("horse-headed fiddle") and the perfection of his singing (lower and upper notes), he loves to fuse his traditional roots with modern, western-influenced music and improvisation. After just a few bars and notes, he succeeds in bringing the scent, vastness and beauty of the Mongolian steppe to the audience's eyes and ears.
Rainer Granzin is active in various jazz and world music formations and feels at home not only on the piano, but also on keyboards and Hammond organ. A guest professorship in China has further complemented his knowledge of East Asian music.
Julius Oppermann provides the groove and places musical combinations with Latin American rhythms and Afro-Cuban traditions in a global context.
