Mr. Red Horn turns 70 - and gives his audience and himself a present: To mark his milestone birthday, Nils Landgren is fulfilling his heart's desire and performing a concert evening together with a large classical orchestra. Composer Vince Mendoza has arranged the best songs from the career of the ever-busy Swedish trombonist, composer, producer and singer for a live performance in a symphonic setting. A new sonic dimension thus emerges from the nucleus of the trio formation. Nils Landgren is already looking forward to the sonic experience: "The powerful embrace of a symphony orchestra is the greatest thing for a musician like me, who comes from a small village in Sweden. I dreamed of this as a young man and I hope that my experience will be yours too!"
