What did you do back then, in 1968? Laughed, cried, danced, sang...? Three old 68ers meet up again today and reminisce about their crazy time in 1968: With their singing skills, Eddy and Rollin fight for the favor of Susi, who always brings a breath of fresh air into the old rehearsal cellar with her constant change of heart, while the overpowering mother urges them to study, swinging a wooden spoon.

They meet again in 1981: Rollin has just returned from Ireland, Eddie is back from India and Susi is working on a compost worm farm in her commune. With mediation, spiritual music and tarot, Eddie and Susi try to heal Rollin, who seems too "gross" to them... In the end, the three meet again in the present day.

The "68er Spätlese" is a tribute to the wild times, filled to the brim with catchy tunes of freedom, justice and love sung live, followed by a dance party
