A musical journey through memory and the senses. With Àroma, Eleanna Pitsikaki presents a first solo album of "transcultural jazz" that invites the audience on a deeply personal sound journey in which jazz, Mediterranean colors and the joy of experimentation merge into a warm, nostalgic and emotional world of sound. Àroma is a tribute to memory, identity and emotion, told through improvisation, musical storytelling and bold sound research.
Àroma has already received international recognition and was awarded the silver medal at the Global Music Awards, the Deutsche Schallplatten Kritik Prize.

The musician from Crete combines traditional influences from Crete and the Balkans with the language of modern jazz and creates a sound that is both familiar and new - rooted, open, sensitive and powerful.

Eleanna (Qanun & Compositions) will be joined on stage by Vladimir Dindiyakov (kaval), Lukas Ebner (piano), Alisa Pou Montz (electric bass) and Samuel Wahlandt (drums).
