Once again this year, the Giessen Summer of Culture will delight visitors with great live acts on the open-air stage at Schiffenberg Monastery.
Johannes Oerding, the multi-platinum and gold award-winning singer-songwriter and popular TV host of "Sing meinen Song" and "The Voice of Germany" is returning to the stage at Schiffenberg Monastery for the third time after completely sold-out concerts in 2018 and 2022. His seventh album "Plan A" shot straight to number 1 in the German charts, and his accompanying tour in 2023 and his first home show in Kapellen, his birthplace on the Rhine, were among the biggest concerts of his career to date. In 2024, Johannes Oerding deliberately took a year off - partly to process the incredible development of his 20-year career, replenish his energy reserves and find new inspiration for upcoming music projects. Johannes Oerding is now returning to the Giessen Kultursommer full of vigor and fresh inspiration.
