A concert between tradition, new beginnings and encounters: Gefyra combines voices and rhythms from Greece and the Balkans - regions full of shared history, pain and joie de vivre. Poetic, lively and political, music becomes a dialog and sound becomes the language of peace.
Eight musicians and guests characterize the evening: Kyriakos Gkouventas (violin), Mariastella Tzanoudaki (vocals), Özgur Murat (vocals, kaval), Deniz Köseoglu (saz), Giorgos Georgolopoulos (bouzouki), Dasho Kourti (accordion), Vasilis Ketentzoglou (guitar, oud), Evi Kanelou (percussion) as well as MC Yinca, Spiros Asonitis and Nikos Tsachtsiris. A multi-layered evening full of sound colors, dance and cultural encounters.
