Westside Summer is back! Industrial culture meets culture in a truly unique setting on the site of the former Griesheim industrial park. This is one of the last opportunities to experience the area as it has looked for almost 200 years before it is transformed step by step into the ultra-modern "Frankfurt Westside" in the coming years. The banks of the Main in Griesheim, surrounded by industrial heritage, an old crane and a wild river, will once again be transformed into the "West Coast", offering open-air cinema, live concerts, the finest cuisine, yoga, workshops for kids, stand-up comedy, a vintage market and a curated wine festival in August. The West Coast spirit unfolds in magical moments between the river, starry sky, dance floor, sun deck, bar and industrial culture.

In 2017, the most beautiful summer film of all time made the first great love, desire, disappointment, ecstasy and the inner burning of youth tangible in all its nuances. It increased the desire for pond dipping, gelato, road biking, hiking and Italy almost immeasurably - and incidentally ushered in the never-ending Timothée Chalamet era.
What does that do to the makers of WESTSIDE SUMMER 2025? They get peaches, play Italo pop before and after the movie (Mind Enterprises live!!!) and build a dance floor by the river.
