Organist Silvius von Kessel from Erfurt plays on the cathedral organ with its 116 stops and approx. 9000 pipes, making it the largest organ system in Hesse. Under the motto "Improvisation to commemorate Mary Queen - Ave maris stella", the program includes works by: Georg Friedrich Händel, Johann Sebastian Bach, Joseph Haydn, Franz Listz with an excerpt from "Tannhäuser" and Richard Wagner's "Ride of the Valkyries".
