Palmengarten

Having won the German Blues Award 2022 in the band category, the Andreas Diehlmann Band is definitely at the top of the German blues scene. Like a well-oiled machine, the band works its way through its original compositions, which are strongly rooted in traditional blues but still have a very unique and modern touch. Jörg Sebald on bass and Tom Bonn on drums form the rhythmically dynamic foundation of the power trio around the exceptional guitarist and singer Andreas Diehlmann.
The musician, who lives in Kassel, studied classical guitar at the Kassel Music Academy and has been working as a freelance live musician, guitar teacher, arranger, composer and session guitarist for numerous studio productions since 1993. In 2017, Andreas Diehlmann founded the blues rock band named after him, which quickly gained a considerable fan base. 2024 saw the release of "That Old Blues Again", the group's eighth album.
