Neues Theater Höchst

For more than five decades, the Pasadena Roof Orchestra has been bringing rousing swing arrangements to international stages in their stylistically confident big band sound. With charm and a lot of British humor, band leader Duncan Galloway leads the audience through the program with classics such as "Puttin' on the Ritz", "Bei mir bist du schön" or "Home in Pasadena". The orchestra has been performing successfully all over the world for over 50 years. In addition to concerts, 19 albums have been released since the orchestra was founded and the instrumental parts were recorded for the two feature films "Comedian Harmonists" by Joseph Vilsmaier and "Beautiful Gigolo, Poor Gigolo" by David Hemmings.

It will be an evening of dance music from the roaring 1920s and elegant 1930s by composers such as Irving Berlin, George Gershwin, Duke Ellington and many more, played by the world's most renowned contemporary swing jazz orchestra.
