Hayn Castle and the natural stage have been known and loved as a cultural venue for centuries. For six weeks, a wide variety of open-air events such as theater, opera, cabaret, concerts, variety shows and readings are on the program in an extraordinary setting.

Stoppok is a singer, musician, German-language singer/songwriter and great guitarist. His music is an independent mixture of folk, rock, rhythm 'n' blues and country. He sings with subtle humor about the adversities of everyday life and in doing so, always distinguishes himself anew as a critical observer of his environment. Stoppok turns everyday language into poetry, creating images of touching directness. In the songs and in the concerts, the not at all silent observer is concerned with attitude and values. Something that our synchronized, multimedia society has largely lost in its search for quick success. The perfect rhythmic combination of language and music has always been just as important to him as the lyrics. Whether with his rock band, as a duo, solo or with his fellow artists: Stoppok always strikes the right note and fascinates his audience as a brilliant entertainer.

Singer/songwriter Stoppok is coming to the Burgfestspiele Dreieichenhain for a unique evening with musicians from different countries. He will be joined by songwriter Cäthe, the sister duo JOCO on piano and drums, Australian Jaimi Faulkner and Fools Garden singer Peter Freudenthaler.

1.8., 8 pm (The events of the Dreieichenhain Castle Festival take place open air and in all weathers. A large part of the grandstand is covered. If required, rain capes are available for spectators in the uncovered rows and will be distributed at the entrance at the beginning of the performance).
