The Obsthof am Steinberg in Nieder-Erlenbach offers a wildly romantic winter feast for young and old with its apple raclette:
The event begins with a fruity mulled apple (also non-alcoholic) to welcome you at the campfire in the wine press hall. This is followed by a mystical torchlight hike through the wild and romantic apple orchard with interesting information about its historic apple varieties. During the hike, two types of pure apple wines or fruit juices are tasted. Duration approx. 45 minutes over a distance of about 1 km.
Afterwards, the convivial apple raclette begins in the cozy, winter-decorated Schoppenwirtschaft. Finally, the evening can end with a drink in the pub until 10 p.m.
The price includes a mug of mulled apple (also non-alcoholic) as a welcome drink and the organic raclette ingredients consisting of raclette cheese, jacket potatoes, bread, corn, fresh mushrooms, onions, pickled gherkins, chopped onions and apples. Other side dishes to suit your own taste can be brought along. The torchlight hike is accompanied by a torch and two glasses of single-variety cider or fruit juice.
Punctual arrival is requested. Please wear sturdy shoes and clothing suitable for the weather. The events take place in all weathers. The hike is not barrier-free.
