Hayn Castle and the natural stage have been known and loved as a cultural venue for centuries. For six weeks, a variety of open-air events such as theater, opera, cabaret, concerts, variety shows and readings are on the program in an extraordinary setting.

Word acrobat Willy Astor presents a program for the whole family at the Burgfestspiele in the morning. "Der Zoo ist kein logischer Garten" is the follow-up album to his classic "Kindischer Ozean". Fans and new discoverers can look forward to another turbulent adventure with the Bröselböck family. All they really want to do is buy two plugs for the bucket, a screw for the arbor and a German seal at the DIY store - until they discover a strange, zebra-striped swinging door. I wonder what's behind it? Fortunately, Bröselböck's curiosity is too great to simply walk past it. Otherwise we might never have made the acquaintance of a collection of extremely weird birds and oddball individuals. In 18 songs and just as many short scenes, we meet, for example, the owl Eulalia, a KATERstrophe, Ingo Knito, the scarecrow Peng and many other peculiar inhabitants of this zoo, which is anything but a logical garden. Where else would you hear Dada songs like "Schmaiserkarrn und Weberlurst"?

13.7., 11 a.m. (The events of the Dreieichenhain Castle Festival take place open air and in all weathers. A large part of the grandstand is covered. If required, rain capes are available for spectators in the uncovered rows and will be distributed at the entrance at the beginning of the performance).
