Summer, sun, theater - the open-air children's theater festival of the Children's and Youth Theater in Niddapark is taking place for the 26th time! One of this year's varied plays is "Robin Hood":

When King Henry II (1154 - 1189) reigned in good old England, a famous brigand, a robber, lived in Sherwood Forest near Nottingham, who was called Robin Hood. No archer was more skillful with bow and arrow than he. The former nobleman and knight appeared with his companions wherever oppression and injustice prevailed. He fought against the authorities, was declared outlawed and experienced many an adventure. Always accompanied by his faithful companions Little John, Brother Tack and all the others. And if it hadn't been for the beautiful maiden Marian, Robin would probably have lived in Sherwood Forest until the end of his days... This old heroic tale from a turbulent time is exciting and captivatingly told for people aged 5 and over. Great songs from the 1970s round off the stage spectacle.
