Magistrat der Stadt Hanau

Georg Kreisler would have celebrated his 104th birthday this year. Reason enough to bring the songs of the old master of cabaret chanson and black humor to the stage. This will be done by someone who is extremely good at it: Konstantin Schmidt has been whistling Kreisler's songs since he was 12 years old. The winner of the 2012 Potsdam Chanson Festival has presented them on stage hundreds of times: the Girl with the Three Blue Eyes, the Triangle, the Bluntschli, the Telephone Book Polka, the Opera Boogie and so on. Of course, the legendary Taubenvergiften will also be heard when Konstantin Schmidt blows onto the stage solo. Hardly anyone brings these songs to the stage as contemporary and lively as he does.
