More than almost any other art form, flamenco stands for passion and emotion, for rhythm and song, for tradition and modernity. Fascinating and sensual at the same time, flamenco is a never-ending dialog between music and dance, between sounds and bodies. The six artists create an energetic atmosphere full of power and passion. With dance, song, guitar and cajón, they invite you to immerse yourself in the wonderful art of flamenco with them. While La Mona, Raphaela Stern and Migiwa Shimizu celebrate the dance with graceful movements and passionate expression the powerful voices of Maria Prenda and Celedonio Garrido touch the heart and transport the and transport the audience into the deepest emotions of this traditional genre. Accompanied by the virtuoso sounds of the guitar, performed by Josel Ratsch, the audience takes part in a musical a musical dialog between tradition and modernity. The Mi Mundo Flamenco formation was founded in 2022 at the Centro Flamenco in Berlin, an international center for flamenco art.
