It sounds charmingly nostalgic when Ulrich Tukur describes his four-piece combo as a "dance band". The programs of the multi-talented musician and his "Rhythm Boys" are indeed a stylish reverence for the - musically - good old days. "I love the elegance, the lightness, the skillfulness of the music and the wit of the lyrics of songs from that time. The entire entertainment industry in the 20s and 30s was of an enormously high standard," says Tukur, explaining his soft spot for the Roaring Twenties. However, the band's programs also take a turn towards the present - with new songs and fresh sounds. In 2025, the four gentlemen are not only celebrating the sophisticated sound of the 1920s, but also themselves: For exactly three decades, they have shared their passion for entertainment and singing, for cultivated entertainment and perfect irony.
