With "La Rosa Enflorece", the Greek trio L' Alma de Saloniko presents the Sephardic musical tradition of Greece, in particular songs by the Jews of Thessaloniki - songs that tell of love, marriage, foreigners and death. But there will also be songs in Greek and Turkish that were shared by the peoples of the Balkans when they lived together for centuries. With a modern but authentic approach, the trio L' Alma de Saloniko breathes new life into the old melodies.
