In addition to a huge range of play and activity stations such as games of skill, bouncy castle, roller slide, bouncy cushion, climbing and much more, there are great hands-on and creative activities at the World Children's Day festival in Günthersburgpark. You can have your face painted, paint on painting stands, spray paint T-shirts, do handicrafts and much more. There will be a colorful stage program for the children from 2.30 pm. The magic clown Eugenio promises lots of fun with juggling, acrobatics and magic to join in, be amazed and laugh, while the TriTra puppet theater takes the children into the dreamlike world of puppetry and Mr. Müller plays beautiful songs on his guitar. There will also be a dance performance by the youth guard of the Frankfurt Carnival Society Narrhalla1948 e.V. Food and drinks will also be provided.

In 1954, the United Nations decided to call on all member states to introduce a "Day of the Child" to raise awareness of children's rights in their countries. The Federal Republic of Germany decided to set this day on September 20 (in the former GDR it was June 6). Is such a day still in keeping with the times? Is it still necessary to stand up for children's rights today? The creators of the Riederwald adventure playground think: YES! In many countries around the world, children are not able to grow up in a child-friendly way and are even deprived of their childhood. This is why the Riederwald Adventure Playground Association has successfully campaigned for the "right to play" to be included in Article 31 of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
