Organist Andreas Boltz plays on the cathedral organ with its 116 stops and approx. 9000 pipes, making it the largest organ system in Hesse. Since June 2011, Andreas Boltz has been the director of music at Frankfurt's St. Bartholomew's Cathedral. He is the artistic director of the "Frankfurt Cathedral Concerts" and performs in this series several times a year as an organist with predominantly themed concert programs and as a conductor of oratorio performances. With his large repertoire of organ music from many eras, he also plays an organ matinée in Frankfurt Cathedral every month and is a frequent guest organist and choirmaster in Germany and abroad.
