The 1st prize winner gets to choose the opera or operetta in which they would like to sing the lead role!
The range spans Aida, Turandot, Otello, Cavalleria Rusticana, La Bohème and 40 other operas and operettas. L'Opera Piccola e. V. will commission Michael Vaccaro's Opera Classica Europa to include the opera or operetta selected by the winner in the repertoire for the coming 2026 season and present it as a staged production with orchestra on stage in front of an audience.
The exciting finale will also include an audience award, which means that every concertgoer concertgoers can have their say and choose their own favorite.
