Spread Love For Great Music is not only the self-proclaimed motto of the boutique and lovers' festival "Golden Leaves Festival" in Darmstadt, but also an internalized motto under which hand-picked newcomers and established greats of the indie scene have been united for 12 years. The Golden Leaves not only celebrates the carefully curated performances on its stages, but also constantly creates new points of contact and levels of experience between artists and audience. Every visitor, musician and volunteer is a necessary part of the festival - an emotional experience designed to sharpen the value of culture within our society and a goal with which the festival is in constant flux. However, it does not try to deny its DIY roots, because to this day, Golden Leaves would not be possible without the voluntary commitment of its volunteers and selfless supporters. Their rigorous commitment is evident not only in the lovingly designed grounds of the Steinbrücker Teich, but also in every single encounter on the grounds. Everything comes together here for a weekend.

The idea behind the Golden Leaves Festival is based on the work of Live at Bedroomdisco e.V., which has been designing and implementing socio-cultural event concepts in off-locations since 2012. The aim is to maintain a family approach with the visitors, which, in addition to sustainability and diversity, attempts to create a regenerative alternative to the megalomania of huge, mainstream festivals.
