Since 1982, the festival of the same name has been held annually at the foot of the Goetheturm - until the catastrophe when the Goetheturm fell victim to arson on an October night in 2017... After a large majority of Frankfurt's citizens voted in favor of rebuilding it, the new Goetheturm has been open to the public again since 2021.

This is why the tower is once again calling for the Goetheturm Festival this year: after the Queen's Meeting on Friday, the party band Winwets from Oberrad will kick off the festival and there will be the Spiridon Goetheturm Run.

Saturday sees the official opening with the tapping of the keg by City Councillor Tina Zapf-Rodriguez and the sale of the new festival tankard. There will be live music with the TG Bad Soden marching band & the Sachsenhausen hunting horn players as well as Fishbone Trash until the evening hours. Thanks to the commitment of many volunteers from the Sachsenhausen clubs, there will also be plenty to eat and drink.

Sunday begins with the traditional family church service before the Stierstadt brass band performs. The new Sachsenhausen Fountain Queen will be crowned in the presence of Mayor Mike Josef and guests are welcome to enjoy blues, rockabilly and swing music from Mrs. Linda & Mr. Hell until the early evening.

The festival mug with an annually changing motif will be sold at the stand of the Sachsenhausen Club Association and CITY CARD holders will receive a free drink of their choice.
