Abenteuerspielplatz Riederwald e. V.

For the 31st time this year, the Riederwald Adventure Playground Association is organizing the Main Games - a play event for children aged 1 to 90 - on the banks of the Main in Sachsenhausen between the Eiserner Steg and the Untermainbrücke bridge. 35 supervisors oversee 20 play stations, ranging from Frankfurt's cleanest sandpit for toddlers to bungee trampolines and crate climbing. There are many different air cushions to bounce on, depending on age. The roller slides and boat rides are the big hits. There are daily changing painting and craft activities with recycled materials. Many activities are free of charge, others such as face painting, bungee trampolines or T-shirt spraying are affordable, as are the prices for food and drinks.

This year, there will once again be the opportunity to take a ride on the "Harbor Pirate Speedboat" at the Main Games. In order to make the reservation binding, a contribution towards the cost of borrowing the necessary life jackets must be paid. The fee is €8 per life jacket.
