Marcel Khalife is a central figure in the Arab music world, building bridges between cultures through his art and using the universal language of music to spread messages of peace and unity. Born in Amchit, Lebanon, he is a renowned composer, singer and oud master. He completed his musical training at the National Conservatory in Beirut, where he graduated in 1971. Since then, he has revolutionized traditional Arabic music by fusing classical forms with Western elements, creating a unique, captivating sound that has gained worldwide recognition.

Khalife is deeply connected to the poetry of important contemporary Arab poets, especially the works of Palestinian poet Mahmoud Darwish. This connection is reflected in many of his compositions, including the album Andalusia of Love, which combines classical, jazz and folk elements with poetry to create a provocative new work. His career spans more than four decades, during which he has released over 20 albums. His music, which often deals with themes such as peace, human rights and the Palestinian cause, has earned him the reputation of an "Arab Bob Dylan". In 2005, he was named a UNESCO Artist for Peace, recognizing his artistic achievements and humanitarian contributions.

In his latest projects, Khalife performs together with his sons. Rami accompanies him on the piano and adds a new, powerful dimension to his father's compositions. Sary brings a new depth of sound to the ensemble with his expressive cello playing. Together they create a fascinating world of sound that combines Orient and Occident by interweaving traditional Arabic melodies with modern, avant-garde elements.
