Exodus is one of the pioneers of thrash metal and has been shaping the genre since the early 1980s with uncompromising heaviness, socially critical lyrics and an unmistakable sound. The band was born out of a deep friendship and a shared musical fire that still burns today. Despite numerous changes in the musical landscape and within the scene, Exodus remain true to their line - raw, direct and full of energy. Their way of working is characterized by creative independence: instead of relying on traditional studios, their works are often created in self-built setups, far away from commercial pressure. The band tackles topics such as social division, media manipulation and political grievances with musical force. Exodus stands for consistency, passion and the will to continue making music that moves and provokes even after decades.
