"Hardly any other young jazz band has caused as much of a stir in Germany in recent years as Max Andrzejewski's HÜTTE," says enthusiastic music journalist Wolf Kampmann. HÜTTE won the 2013 New German Jazz Award, released four albums - some of which were reinforced by a vocal ensemble - and played international tours. With joy of playing and defiant eccentricity, this troupe of strong individuals - drummer and composer Max Andrzejewski, saxophonist Johannes Schleiermacher, guitarist Tobias Hoffmann and bassist Andreas Lang - cultivates a passionate musical madness of the highest order. Avant-garde music, sanguine melodies and expressive freedom... the HÜTTE is on fire.

And now the quartet is returning to its roots and becoming instrumental again: the new music sounds immediate, personal and is permeated by a new calm, in which the band's fire can be heard shining through at all times. The album "Reduce" was released in September 2023.
