Brüder Grimm Festspiele Hanau

As the birthplace of the world-famous Brothers Grimm, Hanau is dedicating the Brothers Grimm Festival to its most famous sons and their works for the 41st time.

You've never seen the story of the Bremen Town Musicians like this before: modern, pop and surprising! A rousing family musical with a live band by Isabelle Flachsmann (book and lyrics) and Juri Kannheiser (composition). The humorous and imaginative version shows that it is never too late to break new ground and make your dreams come true: A donkey, a dog, a cat and a rooster are no longer welcome in their familiar surroundings. They decide to form a band and set off for Bremen. But on the way they meet a gang of robbers who make life difficult for them... On their journey, the animals learn a lot about friendship, solidarity and, last but not least, about themselves. As different as the four friends are, only together can they overcome the obstacles in their way.
