Die Dramatische Bühne

With "Kafka's Trial", the Dramatische Bühne is staging a theatrical walk through the depths of the human soul at exciting locations in the Rhine-Main region: Someone must have slandered Kafka, because without being aware of any guilt, he was arrested one morning. This begins a nightmarish journey for Kafka down into the abysses of his soul.

The audience wanders through the thicket of the big city together with the actors. They are led down into the catacombs of madness, scenes of insanity are hidden everywhere in the nooks and crannies of reality, the guests wander through the endless labyrinths of the court offices, have to solve puzzles and mysterious tasks and follow Kafka on his way to his downfall. A dark, menacing spectacle of guilt and atonement, trial and punishment unfolds, somewhere between absurd comedy and nightmarish grotesque.
