"Die Schmiere" enters its 75th season and presents a satirical, comedic, entertaining and political program in the rustic monastery cellar.
The common GDR citizen was not allowed to travel. They traveled the world by train, Interflug, Trabi or hitchhiking - to the East. Bulgaria and Hungary in particular quickly became the Majorca and Tuscany of the vacation-ready East German workers.
