In his new program "Geisteskrank", Farid - Germany's most fascinating illusionist - questions nothing less than everything we think we know about normality and madness. The visionary magician sees mental illness not only as a word that insults, devalues and discriminates. In his new show, he confronts us with the question of whether we are not basically all mentally ill in some way. Do we actually still live in a world that meets human needs? Or do we live in an unnatural, very artificial environment that must make us sick in the mind?

If we take a close look at what is actually normal or crazy, what is right and what is wrong, we discover new, amazing and yes, magical things through Farid! He knows the term "mentally ill" all too well, as the question most often asked of him after his shows - sometimes thoughtlessly - is: "Are you mentally ill?" The answer seems to be in the air and yet offers a wealth of deeply moving material for his new work. With his new show, Farid challenges the audience to be brave, to live authentically and to go our own way. Not only can we expect moments of madness and magic in the best appreciative sense, but FARID takes the audience on a journey to the truth - to each of our own truths! An artist who presumes to entertain so well that it will make a lasting difference. An evening full of astonishment and insight. But above all, full of laughter, joy and lots of head-shaking at the lovingly posed question: "Is he mentally ill?"
