When winter is just around the corner, Pe Werner sprinkles "Ne Prise Zimt" into her concert program, which is a real listening pleasure. Pe Werner, a household name with her hit "Kribbeln im Bauch", takes a tongue-in-cheek approach to German Christmas rituals and stories about last-minute presents, the obligation to shovel snow, goose stuffing and Christmas trees between tinsel compulsion and fire insurance. Accompanied by Peter Grabinger on the grand piano, she strolls entertainingly through a winter wonderland of pop, jazz, chansons from her own pen and Christmas classics in special arrangements.
