The trio interprets Christmas carols in its own unique way - far removed from "swinging Christmas". Martin Wagner, Hanns Höhn and Andreas Neubauer combine jazz, groove and tradition to create a sound that intensifies emotions and creates an unusually clear festive mood. Critics describe virtuoso grooving traditionals with atmosphere and character. The ensemble has been presenting its winter jazz program Engelrausch since 2004, and as a trio since 2012. The result is a unique Christmas world with original songs, powerful groove, sensitivity and fresh improvisation - virtuosic and captivating.
