Árstíðir's annual Christmas concert is a tradition that dates back to 2008, the same year the band was founded. Around the darkest days of December, the group steps away from their normal repertoire for one special evening. With a delightful mix of their most wintry songs and traditional Icelandic and Nordic Christmas chorales arranged especially for the occasion, they evoke the spirit of winter and cozy holiday cheer. To top it all off, there are some stories about Icelandic Christmas traditions. Every year, the show takes place in the same wooden church, known as Frikírkjan, in the heart of Reykjavík. This tradition has become a popular event among the band's fans.
