Inspector Peter Campbell of Scotland Yard, tired of looking for evidence, sets the two of them up to meet and hopes for good times, but mostly bad!
Attracted by their respective fortunes, the two protagonists marry and forge ever new Machiavellian and ludicrous plans to get each other out of the way, much to the delight of the audience.
